The Netherlands and the two of us

View from EuroMast, Rotterdam

I had to wait for Javier to come to The Netherlands the first week of march to really have a nice, high quality and still efficient tourism after a good couple of months leaving here ... well, in the end, who better discover beautiful places with than the person you love?

We started in Rotterdam, actually our first recommended place is the EURO MAST. The best view of the whole city and for sure one of the most amazing, romantic dinners we've ever had with the whole city full of light in front of us - definitively an unforgetable moment!

The next day we headed to The Hague and Gouda (the city of the famous Gouda Cheese)! Interesting to enjoy the well managed train system in The Netherlands just travelling from town to town and enjoying hot chocolate/coffee as much as we cold - you know, sightseen under 5-10 degrees can't be easy sometimes ! The peak experience however I would say was Amsterdam: city center, boat trip through the channels, Van Gogh Museum and last but not least, the red right district!

In the Amsterdam channels

Well, in the end it was not only the two of us, we had the chance to meet good friends of the two that are either dutch or based in The Netherlands!! Actually thanks to them is that we managed to find our way specially in cities like Amsterdam ....

After IPM - a new beginning

IPM 2006 was over last friday 3rd of march!

Feelings are difficult to describe ... for sure not sadness as many people might think "Oh your AIESEC time is getting over ..." - over? yeeeaaah right ... if there is one season in my AIESEC life where I have felt more challenged to achieve what I need to achieve and leave a legacy is NOW.

So, I am right now in the middle of Americas Xpro & LDS preparation, country visits round two, coordinating transition :) and many other amazing stuff! Wanted however to leave you with a couple of snaps of the people that were the center of attention in many moments of IPM: the AI candidates, well some of them now, the AI 06 07 elects!

Have you ever had a very very very close friend PAI? well now I do! Dey, PAI 06 07

All director candidates before the announcement - good job guys!

AIESEC INTERNATIONAL TEAM 06 07

Ah! of course a have a sucessor :) Her name is Araz (on the last pic the 7th from left to right!), she is from Canada and is already falling in love with SSGN!

It's an interesting cycle, time passed fast, but future looks extremely promising for all of us!
